Frederic Chopin
For this illustration we were required to make a cd cover for one musician. We had four genres of music to pick form and I chose classical. From there we had a list of composers to pick from and I chose Frederic Chopin. Chopin is a classical pianist from the early to mid 1800's. He was Polish by decent but due to oppression he moved to France. He struggled with health issues and did not perform many grand shows. He is considered one of the first Romanticists. For his soft delicate sound I decided to create him out of paper due to its fragility. With some soft blue lighting and draped fabric backdrop, a beautiful stage was set and photographed for the final composition. We had three weeks for this project and I was quite ambitious to create "Little Frederic."
